Just 10 miles north of our caravan site, Cambridge is a city for all seasons and for all interests and tastes.

Easily accessible on the southern side of Cambridge are the University Botanic Gardens and Fitzwilliam Museum. From our caravan site take the A1301 to Cambridge. Or you can catch the train to Cambridge - the caravan site is about a mile from Great Chesterford railway station.

Phone or visit website for opening hours. Duxford retains its wartime atmosphere and, as many of its aeroplanes still fly, you might even see one take to the air during a visit. From our caravan site take the A1301 towards Cambridge, then turn right on the A505 - it's near the junction of the A505 and M11 (junct 10).

The 2500 acre Wimpole Estate, situated eight miles south west of Cambridge, offers visitors the chance to visit: a house built mainly in the 18th Century; landscaped park; gardens and Home Farm. 7 miles south of Cambridge between Fowlmere and Melbourn.
Fowlmere's reedbeds and pools are fed by natural chalk springs and a chalk stream runs through the reserve.  Special birds, include kingfishers and water rails, breeding sedge, reed and grasshopper warblers and a roost of corn buntings.
