High Visibility Vests for children - Teenage Child & Adult Size Hi Viz Waistcoats
Our High Visibility Vests (also known as Hi Vis/Hi Viz waistcoats) are for use by children day or night, all year round. Older children gradually become more independent on the roads, but it is very important that they should be easily seen. Teenage children should have high visibility vests for: walking to school, cycling, horse riding, school/youth group trips, etc
Road safety is the most important benefit of our high visibility vests. Another benefit is that a child in a hi-viz vest will be more difficult to lose in a crowd - great in shopping centres, airports or any other crowded place.
High visibility vests have a fluorescent yellow background and retro-reflective tape (two bands right around the hi-viz waistcoat plus two 'braces'. The high visibility vests comply with standard EN471, a slightly higher specification than the smaller children's sizes we sell (basically they are more effective because they are bigger, with a larger area of yellow and reflective material).
These hi vis vests are suitable for teenage children (they are actually a medium adult size). The pictures show younger children wearing the smaller size high visibility vests - the teenage child sized safety vests are the same style.
