| Making A Purchase In the checkout you can choose one of the following options: CREDIT & DEBIT CARDS - we accept all major credit cards and debit cards for payment on our website. We are unable to accept credit/debit card payments by 'phone. Online we use two payment service providers: Nochex - simplest for UK card payments up to £300 Paypal - any size order, nearly all credit and debit cards issued worldwide If one does not work for you, please try the other. BANK TRANSFER - we will email you an invoice with our bank account details. Bank transfer is fastest (please let us know the transfer has been initiated, so we can look out for it). Money must be transferred to our account in GBP (£). Please use the last 4 digits of the order number as a reference. CHEQUE - this is the slowest payment method as it takes time for the cheque to clear. Please make cheque payable to Chesterford Ltd and write the last 4 digits of the order number on the back. Follow link on left to DELIVERY, CONTACT DETAILS & OTHER INFORMATION for the address to post the cheque to. PAYMENT ON ACCOUNT - this is available ONLY to schools, local and national UK government and police forces. Payment must be made within 30 days of date of order (we prefer payment by bank transfer). When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we despatch the goods to you (we include an invoice with the goods). We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing or we are no longer able to supply a particular product. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. If your item is not in stock we will let you know the expected delivery date and also give you the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. |
Shipping And Handling In the checkout you can choose between the following delivery options. The delivery charge will be displayed before you enter your card details.
Standard and Economy deliveries will often arrive sooner than indicated above but you should allow for the timings above. The timings above assume that all your items are in stock. Occasionally an item may be out of stock - in this case we will notify you as quickly as possible and you can choose to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. If we are personalising items with logos there will be further delay in getting the order to you. We will inform you of the estimated delivery date. For all delivery options a signature may be required on delivery (if you're not in a card will be left and you can telephone the carrier to arrange a convenient day for redelivery). Most orders are delivered by carriers such as FedEx (usually deliver only Mon to Fri), although very small orders may go via Royal Mail (and might be delivered on a Saturday). International delivery is done using Royal Mail's Airmail service. There is a weight limit for this - if our checkout rejects the order as being too heavy, please email or phone us to see if there is any way we can get the order to you. Certain items (e.g. identity wristbands) have free Economy delivery. You can choose to pay for a faster delivery service at the checkout. | |||||||||||||||||||
| Credit Card Security Credit cards are processed on a secure website. They are not held in clear text on any web site. Our payment processor Paypal has recently introduced an additional layer of security - this works as the online equivalent to the 'chip and pin' system, providing an extra level of security for both the customer and the merchant. If you are not already registered on one of the schemes, e.g. Verified by Visa, you will be asked to register before the payment can be completed. In future you will then only need to enter a password when you use a participating online retailer. |
| Privacy Policy Chesterford Ltd do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party. Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies. Cancellation & Returns We aim to provide you with as much information as we can about each product so that you can make an informed purchasing decision. However, to give consumers additional confidence, the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations (2000) give the right to cancel an order by giving us notice of cancellation within 7 days of the date of delivery to you. Such notice must be given to us by mail, fax or email. If you are cancelling because of any problem with the goods, please notify us of the problem at the time of cancellation. On cancellation you must return the goods to us as soon as reasonably possible at your cost. Where the goods are being returned because they are faulty, incorrectly supplied or damaged, we will meet the cost of return but we ask that you allow us to nominate the carrier. On cancellation, a full refund will be given within 30 days. Cancellation and changes to Caravan Site Bookings Deposits are non-returnable in the event of cancellation. If the booking is fully or partly cancelled less than 28 days before arrival date, the balance for the original booking will also have to be paid. We may at our discretion waive payment of the balance if we are able to re-let the pitch(es) to other caravanners. Please let us know as soon as possible if you need to cancel or change your booking dates. |
